Sports "The American Way"
Golf is one of the most popular sports in the United States today. Golf was at first considered a gentlemans game with private club houses then women got involved and the fun began. Ladies thought that golf was much better than playing croquet. Men would have tournments to see who the best golfers were while women stood on the side lines. Many famous people played over the years from Presidents, statesmen, kings, prime ministers, famous athlete's and country western stars. The pendulum did swing both ways. In some areas schools teach the sport. Golf is now open to everyone!
