Every year the people of New Orleans hold their annual festival with parades, good foods, and entertainment. The Tuesday before Ash Wednesday is called Fat Tuesday and everyone eats a lot of fattening foods. The French in New Orleans always loved their parties and when the Spanish took over they began doing the Mardi Gras, a festival where you wear a mask. Until this day the people keep the identity of their King a secret until the day of his unveiling. Go Enjoy this festival! One of French Festivals done in "The American Way"
