Mardi Gras A French Festival done The American Way

Every year the people of New Orleans hold their annual festival with parades, good foods, and entertainment. The Tuesday before Ash Wednesday is called Fat Tuesday and everyone eats a lot of fattening foods. The French in New Orleans always loved their parties and when the Spanish took over they began doing the Mardi Gras, a festival where you wear a mask.
